J Balvin fará performance ao lado de Camila Cabello no Grammy 2019

O Grammy Awards deste ano, que acontece no próximo domingo (10), contará com um número de abertura cheio de ritmo latino que a gente tanto gosta. J Balvin, Camila Cabello, Ricky Martin e Arturo Sandoval serão os responsáveis pelo número de abertura da premiação de 2019.
Além dos nossos queridos latinos, o rapper americano Young Thug também participará da apresentação de abertura do Grammy. Ele é conhecido por seus singles Stoner, Picacho e Danny Glover, além de seu estilo vocal não convencional, que combina com seu estilo de vida e moda.
J Balvin, ao lado de Cardi B e Bad Bunny, também é indicado para o disco do ano por I Like It no Grammy 2019.
A participação de tantos artistas latinos juntos é uma ocasião especial para o Grammy, visto que a presença de latinos no evento é quase que rara durante os 61 anos de premiação. Mas isso só mostra o quanto o mercado da música latina está crescendo e ganhando visibilidade de outros públicos, se não aqueles que já o acompanham.
Podemos listar aqui algumas dessas poucas apresentações: ano passado, graças ao sucesso de Despacito, Luis Fonsi e Daddy Yankee subiram ao palco do Grammy. Em 2016, foi a vez de Pitbull, que fechou a 58ª edição dos prêmios com um medley, que teve a participação de Sofia Vergara na música El Taxi. Juanes marcou presença em 2015 com Juntos.
Claro que a Shakira também passou pelo palco do Grammy. Foi em 2007 que a colombiana marcou presença com Hips Don’t Lie, com participação de Wyclef. Marc Anthony e Jennifer Lopez, em 2005, cantaram Escapemonos. Ricky Martin performou de forma espetacular a música The Cup of Life, em 1999.
Mas foram Celia Cruz e Tito Puente os primeiros nomes latinos a subirem nos palcos do Grammy. Eles apresentaram o clássico Quimbara, no Rádio City Musci Hall, em 1988, seguidos por Linda Ronstadt, que fascinou a todos com o espetáculo mariachi de La Charreada, em 1989.
Carlos Santana, apresentou-se em 2000 e Gloria Estefan, o único nome latino a se apresentar duas vezesno Grammy, participou em 1990, com uma versão bilíngue de Don’t Want To Lose You / Si Voy A Perderte, e em 1994, com Mi Tierra.
